Heart Coloring Pages for Adults
These are 12 free heart coloring pages for adults, focused on patterns, in Easy, Medium and Detailed levels for Letter or A4 paper.
What is in this collection
These pages treat the heart as a shape to fill with patterns. A large heart is split into wavy bands, nested rings, a diamond grid or a sunburst of wedges. One page has a scalloped edge with a dot in every scallop. Others pack a big heart with smaller hearts, set four heart mandalas in frames, or cover the whole page with hearts in offset rows. Two sampler pages show four or six styles side by side.
- Easy: one big heart or four framed hearts with wide zones.
- Medium: tangle patterns in every other zone.
- Detailed: small cells, fine patterns and a full-page heart wallpaper.
Paper and tools
Colored pencils work on regular printer paper. Fine-tip markers and gel pens suit the patterned zones, but use heavier paper, around 32 lb or 120 gsm, so they do not bleed through.
Palette ideas
Pick one color family, such as reds to pinks or teals to blues, and step from dark at the edge to light in the center of the nested hearts. On the diamond grid, alternate two colors for a harlequin look and keep the patterned diamonds a shade darker.
A slow-coloring tip
Color the plain zones first with one flat color. Then go back and color the small shapes inside the patterns. Working in two passes keeps the page calm and even.
