Christmas Tree Coloring Pages
These are 15 free Christmas tree coloring pages for adults, in Easy, Medium and Detailed levels, ready to print on Letter or A4 paper.
What is in this collection
The trees come in several shapes: tiered trees with scalloped hems, slim trees with slanted garland bands, a round-top tree in a pot, low-poly geometric trees made of triangles and mandala trees built from stacked fans. Each section holds its own pattern. Some pages add a star, gifts, small ornaments, a row of trees on snowy ground or a tree seen through an arched window.
- Easy: few large sections and bold outlines.
- Medium: more bands, ornaments and scenes.
- Detailed: many small patterned zones for fine pencils.
Paper and tools
Colored pencils work on plain printer paper. Markers and gel pens need heavier paper, around 32 lb or 120 gsm. The geometric trees also suit alcohol markers, since each triangle is a clean closed shape.
Palette ideas
Use three or four greens from dark to light and change them from tier to tier. Add one accent color, such as cranberry red or warm gold, for the star, ornaments and gift ribbons. For a modern look, color a geometric tree in blues and teals.
A slow-coloring tip
Start at the star and work down one tier at a time. Stop at the end of a tier, not in the middle of one, so it is easy to pick up again the next day.
