New Year Coloring Pages

What is in this collection

You will find firework bursts over a city skyline with many small windows, a clock face with both hands at midnight, two champagne flutes with bubbles, a tall hourglass, a mandala-style firework, and Happy New Year and 2027 lettering filled with patterns inside confetti and streamer frames.

• Easy: large shapes, bold lines and hollow numbers.
• Medium: patterned buildings, lettering and an hourglass.
• Detailed: fine patterns, minute ticks and many small zones.

Paper and tools

Print on plain paper for colored pencils, or on heavier paper, around 32 lb or 120 gsm, for markers. Metallic gel pens suit the fireworks and confetti, and a dark color around the bursts makes them stand out.

Palette ideas

For a night sky, use navy, deep purple and charcoal around the fireworks, with gold, silver and bright pink for the bursts. A softer page can use champagne, blush and pale gold.

A slow-coloring tip

Color a page on the last evening of the year and write the date in a corner. It becomes a small keepsake to look back on next year.
