Easy Color by Number for Adults
These are 8 free easy color by number pages for adults with 8 to 12 colors and big cells, printable on US Letter or A4, each with a full-color answer key.
What makes these pages easy
Each page has 8 to 12 colors and large cells with big, clear numbers, so you can work with markers or thick pencils and finish a page in one or two sittings. The pictures are simple and calm: a hot air balloon over hills, an autumn leaf, a sailboat, a daisy, a lighthouse, green hills, a mountain lake and a butterfly.
How color by number works
Each cell holds a number. Find the number in the legend at the bottom of the page, pick a pencil or marker that matches the swatch name, and fill every cell with that number. Work one color at a time, from light to dark, so you do not smudge the lighter areas. The picture appears slowly as the cells fill in. Each page comes with an answer key in full color, so you can check a cell or see the finished picture before you start.
Good for tired eyes and busy days
Big cells are kind to your eyes and your hands. If small print is hard to read, print the page at actual size on bright white paper and color in good daylight. Broad felt tips or soft colored pencils cover the large cells quickly. When you want more of a challenge, try the medium collections or our hard color by number pages.
Printing tips
Download the PDF in US Letter or A4 and print at 100 percent (actual size), not "fit to page", so the numbers stay crisp. Smooth paper of 90 to 120 gsm (24 to 32 lb) takes colored pencils well. For markers, heavier paper or cardstock stops bleed-through. Keep a spare copy of the line sheet if you want to try a second palette.
