Aesthetic Coloring Pages for Adults

What is in this collection

The pages use the simple shapes of modern boho design: rainbow arches, a sun with straight and wavy rays, a striped sunset inside an arched frame, dotted mushrooms under a crescent moon, an arched window with potted plants on the sill, a vase of dried stems, a checkerboard bent by soft waves and a sampler of six arched frames. Lines are smooth and spacing is generous, so the pages feel quiet.

• Easy: few large shapes and bold outlines.
• Medium: plants, a vase, the checkerboard and the sampler.
• Detailed: patterned rainbows, a brick window surround and fine wavy bands.

Paper and tools

Colored pencils on plain printer paper give a soft, matte look that suits this style. Brush markers work well on the large arches; print on heavier paper, around 32 lb or 120 gsm, if you use them.

Palette ideas

Earthy, muted colors fit best: terracotta, mustard, sage, dusty pink, sand and warm brown. Use one accent color, such as rust or deep teal, in two or three places. Leaving some zones white or cream keeps the page light.

A slow-coloring tip

Color the arches and bands one at a time, from the outside in. Press lightly at first and add a second layer only where you want more depth.
