What is on these pages
Every sheet is a full-page tiling inside a double frame: Truchet arcs that join into winding paths, tumbling blocks made of isometric cubes, hexagons with six-point stars, triangles split into smaller triangles, overlapping-circle flower lattices, whirls of nested squares, an op-art grid warped by a bulge, Islamic-style eight-point stars and mirrored kaleidoscopes. The border band and the corner squares are colorable too.
Choosing a level
Easy pages have bold lines and large shapes, good for markers or a relaxed evening. Medium pages add a second layer of shapes. Detailed pages use fine lines and many small cells; sharp colored pencils or fine liners suit them best.
Palette ideas
Repeating patterns reward a plan. Try two colors plus white for a crisp tile look, or three shades of one color for the cube pages, which turns the rhombi into light, middle and shadow faces. For the kaleidoscope, color ring by ring from the center outward. On the op-art grid, a simple checkerboard in two colors makes the bulge stand out.
