What is on these pages

Every snowflake has six arms drawn as an outlined band, so each arm is a closed shape you can color, trace or cut. You will find one large flake per page, medium flakes two per page, small flakes six or twelve per page, a double outline flake, a simple flake with thick arms for easy cutting, and solid black silhouettes for stencils.

Paper and cutting tips

• Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Copy paper is enough for tracing; cardstock holds up better for window and wall decorations.
• The simple and large flakes are the easiest to cut with scissors. For the small detailed ones, a craft knife on a cutting mat gives cleaner inner corners.
• Cut the white space between branches first, then the outer edge.

Ideas

Hang cut flakes on a thread in a window, use them as gift toppers, trace them onto felt for ornaments, or color the arms in icy blues, silver and white gel pen on dark paper. The silhouettes make good stencils for spray snow or paint.
