Printing and cutting
- Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Cardstock works best for templates you trace more than once.
- The inner curve of a thin crescent is easiest to cut slowly with small scissors, turning the paper instead of the blades.
- For felt or fabric, trace the moon with a washable marker and cut just inside the line.
Ideas
Use the moons for night sky mobiles, bedroom wall decor, Ramadan and Eid crafts, quilting and appliqué, or as calm coloring pages. Deep blue paper with silver or gold pencil makes a simple, striking moon. Print several sizes to layer moons of different widths in one design.
