Heart Template
These 14 free heart templates are made for adults and crafters: heart outlines in exact sizes from 1 to 7 inches, plus fold, garland and wreath patterns. Print on Letter or A4.
What is in this set
Every heart is drawn at a true size and labeled in inches and centimeters. There is a large 7 inch heart, a 5 inch heart, a chart with four sizes, and sheets with 2, 6, 12 and 30 hearts. Craft pages add a half heart to cut on the fold, five nested hearts for a layered card, a strip that folds into a garland of joined hearts, a tall and a wide heart, a scalloped heart, a heart wreath and a page of solid silhouettes for stencils.
Print at the right size
Choose "actual size" or 100% in the print dialog. Each page has a short line at the bottom that should measure exactly 1 inch. If it is shorter, your printer is scaling the page.
Ideas for using the templates
- Trace onto card stock or felt and cut out for cards, tags or bunting.
- Cut the nested hearts from five colors of paper and glue them in a stack.
- Fold a long strip of paper like a fan, lay the garland strip on top and cut through all layers.
- Color the large heart with a pattern of your own, or fill it with words.
Paper
Plain copy paper is fine for tracing. For shapes you want to keep, use 65 lb card stock, which still feeds through most home printers.
